The Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the University of Cambridge, acting through its department, the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), The British Council and IELTS Australia Pty Ltd (IELTS Australia) are the joint owners of intellectual property in and relating to the IELTS exam as defined in an agreement between the three parties. UCLES has developed software for use in relation to the IELTS exam known as the “Web Administration System for IELTS” and UCLES owns all intellectual property rights in the Web Administration system for IELTS.
