This agreement applies to all research involving both institutions, except in the circumstances described below and except for oncology-related research for which (1) research subject consent will be obtained and (2) the UW principal investigator is a member of the local Cancer Consortium. Such oncology research must be reviewed by the IRB at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
