I, , acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to the San Joaquin Delta Power Squadron to enroll and participate in the Partner in Command or Jump Start course. I understand that the course is a program aimed at assisting persons to learn the rudiments of boat handling, boating safety and also discusses techniques of assisting those who have fallen overboard or are injured or experience a medical emergency so that I can more competently respond should I be either skipper or a passenger on a vessel whose operator falls overboard or becomes incapacitated. I also acknowledge that I carry current insurance, a current vessel safety check, that I will be wearing a life vest during all on the water activities, and that conditions are favorable for the training.
