Streambed Alteration Agreement • May 9th, 2022

Since the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife did not provide a draft streambed alteration agreement for your review by the deadline of April 4, 2020, your project is authorized to proceed by operation of law (oplaw). This means your project can be constructed as described in your notification of lake or streambed alteration (Notification No. 1600-2020-0012-R4). This includes the project term, begin and end dates for construction, and all avoidance and minimization measures for wildlife included in the notification, attachments, and email correspondence. A courtesy letter will be forthcoming but you do not need anything further from CDFW to begin your project. Please note that notifications authorized by oplaw are not eligible for extension or amendment. Please contact R4LSA@wildlife.ca.gov if you have any questions regarding the oplaw status of your project.
