The existing Headquarter for Rhode Island Air National Guard (RIANG) located in Building 1 is in poor condition. With exterior water infiltration throughout the building envelope, the building does not safely support the building occupants. Extensive renovation and repairs are necessary to address the failing infrastructure within the building and to significantly improve the reliability of the building systems and reduce their maintenance and operating energy cost. A new Headquarter is currently under design to replace the current Building 1.
