Abstract. We suggest several automaton groups as platforms for Anshel- Anshel-Goldfeld key agreement metascheme. They include Grigorchuk and universal Grigorchuk groups, Hanoi 3-Towers group, the Basilica group and a subgroup of the affine group Aff4(Z).
