JVA appreciates the opportunity to present our fee proposal and scope of services to the Town of Nederland (CLIENT/Town) for the Big Springs Road Improvements project. In March of 2020, at the request of the Town and with direction from the Nederland Downtown Development Authority (NDDA), JVA performed a parking study for Big Spring Drive, Conger Street, and Lakeview Drive which encompass the Caribou Village shopping center. From this study, Town Staff and the NDDA requested a design for an improved roadway configuration to provide parking on the south side of Big Springs Dr adjacent to the Black Forest Property. The project consists of a perpendicular parking layout, sidewalk, and storm drainage improvements.
