The position of Pre-Set Vascular Registrar is for post RMO level doctors who are considering a career in Vascular Surgery or a Paravascular specialty. This registrar position will undertake clinical duties as part of the general vascular team as well as within the vascular laboratory and will be encouraged and facilitated to undertake a minimum of one audit project with the potential to coordinate higher level research. Registrars work in accordance with the Hospital’s core values of Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (CARE). Provides training, supervision and education for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) and Interns. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, works to achieve National, State and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards.
