AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING AN ALLIANCE BETWEENAgreement • August 23rd, 2016
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) and Operating Engineers Local 324 Journeyman & Apprentice Training, Fund, Inc. recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful Michigan workplaces. To that end, MIOSHA and OE 324 JATF hereby form an Alliance to provide OE 324 JATF members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers, particularly by reducing and preventing exposure to Mobile Equipment, Excavation, and Crane Operation hazards, and understand the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers under the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSH Act). In developing this Alliance, MIOSHA and OE 324 JATF recognize that MIOSHA’s CET Division is an integral part of this effort.
