Students are expected to perform 4 laboratory rotations during the first year of graduate school in order to assist in the selection of a dissertation mentor. During each rotation, students are expected to spend approximately five hours per day, five days per week (e.g., 12 - 5 pm Mon - Fri) in the laboratory of the host faculty member (unless prohibited by classes).
