ITW/Plexus and their distribution partner Paslode, a division of Illinois Tool Works, decided to exit the market for the TrimBonder product line. A private label agreement was reached between ITW/Plexus, the manufacturer of the adhesive branded as Trimbonder™, and Chemical Concepts, Inc. whereby ITW/Plexus would sell the bulk adhesive to Chemical Concepts Inc. for packing into pails, tubes and cartridges under the Chemset™ TrimGrip label.
