THIS AGREEMENT is entered into pursuant to Section 215.971, Florida Statutes (F.S.), between the STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, whose address is 3900 Commonwealth Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000 (hereinafter referred to as the “Department”) and the CITY OF LAKE WALES, whose address is 201 West Central Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida 33853 (hereinafter referred to as “Grantee”), a local government, to provide financial assistance for the Lake Wales West State Road (SR) 60 Expansion. Collectively, the Department and the Grantee shall be referred to as “Parties” or individually as a “Party”.
