D’Youville College and the D’Youville Chapter of the American Association of University Professors, herein referred to as the Association, is to improve the quality and effectiveness of education at D’Youville College, herein referred to as the College, and to maintain high standards of academic excellence in all phases of academic activity at the College. The parties hereto concur that these objectives can be materially achieved by means of amicable adjustments of matters of mutual interest and through the establishment of basic understandings relative to personnel policies, practices, procedures and matters affecting other conditions of employment.
