Each student at Metropolitan State University (Metro State) has the right to an education, and it is the responsibility of the university to provide an envi- ronment that promotes learning and protects the safety and well-being of the university community. Any action by a student that interferes with this com- mitment will be considered a violation of the Student Conduct Code (see www.metrostate.edu/policies/index.cfm). Disciplinary action will be handled in an expeditious manner and will reflect due process.
