THIS AMENDED AND RESTATED EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is entered into as of March 14, 2023, by and between the COACHELLA VALLEY WATER DISTRICT (“District”) and James M. Barrett (“Employee”), for the employment by the District of Employee as its General Manager subject to the terms and conditions stated herein. In accordance with the provisions of Section 53262 of Government Code, this Agreement is subject and conditioned on ratification in an open session of a Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the District.
