Contract Type FiledDecember 9th, 2002By letter dated March 25, 1991, Governor Cecil Andrus of Idaho informed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of his decision to return Idaho’s Agreement to the NRC because of severe budget constraints, as well as other compelling reasons. A copy of the Governor’s letter is on file in the Commission’s Public Document Room at 2120 L. Street, NW., Washington. DC. Accordingly, the NRC is reasserting its authority over byproduct material as defined in section 11e.(1) of the Atomic Energy Act, as amended, source material and special nuclear material in quantities not sufficient to form a critical mass.
