The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish collective bargaining relations between the Company and the Union, to continue the co-operation and spirit of good will between the Company and its employees, to provide machinery for the prompt disposition of grievances arising under this between the parties, the Company must be kept in a strong competitive market cost, consistent with fair labour standards, and the Union agrees to support the Company in attaining such objective.
