The District enters into this Agreement to ensure its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI), 42 U.S.C. § 2000d et seq., and its implementing regulation, 34 C.F.R. Part 100, which are enforced by both OCR and DOJ (hereinafter “United States”), and Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title IV), 42 U.S.C. § 2000c, et seq., which is enforced by the DOJ.
