This Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) is hereby entered into this day of , 20 A.D. by and between the CITY OF JOLIET, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as “City”, acting pursuant to Chapter 65 of the Illinois Complied Statutes and the Constitution of the State of Illinois, and JOLIET TOWNSHIP, a Body Politic, hereinafter referred to as “JTAC”, acting pursuant to Chapter 60 of the Illinois Complied Statutes and the Constitution of the State of Illinois, for the providing of services that promote animal control and sound animal welfare.
