The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) desire to enter into a cooperative agreement whereby NOAA provides meterological assistance and consultation directed toward the specific needs of the NRC's Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation in its review of the meterological aspects of reactor sitings and the issuance of reactor construction and operation licenses.
