When using adjectives (describing words) in Spanish, the adjectives must agree in GENDER with the nouns they are describing. This means that when using adjectives that end in an “o,” we must change the “o” to an “a” if we are describing a feminine object. Only the letter “o” can be changed to an “a” – no other letters can be changed.
