You are expected to paddle at least once a week, preferably twice per week during the paddling season from April to September. Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 am. At practice we work on paddling, building our endurance and strengthening our technique. We are on the water for one hour and we take short breaks during that time, with a longer refreshment break at the midpoint when we encourage you to sides change to ensure balance in our bodies. Practices are important because the building of individual skills and endurance and the success of the team relies on each of you. Note: We know that there will be times when you will have to miss practice for personal reasons or due to illness. We are OK with that.
