THIS AMENDMENT No. 1 (this “Amendment”) is made this 30th day of March 2003 (the “Effective Date”), by and between Verizon North Inc., f/k/a GTE North Incorporated, and Verizon South Inc., f/k/a GTE South Incorporated, a Wisconsin corporation (collectively “Verizon”), on the one hand, each providing service within its respective service territory in Illinois, and both with a principal place of business at 8001 West Jefferson, Ft. Wayne, IN 46804, and AT&T Communications of Illinois, Inc., an Illinois corporation (“AT&T”), on the other hand, with its principal place of business at One AT&T Way, Bedminster, NJ 07921. (Verizon and AT&T may be hereinafter referred to, each individually, as a “Party” and, collectively, as the “Parties”). This Amendment covers services in the Verizon service territory in the State of Illinois (the “State”).
