Option to Renew. The State shall have an option to renew the contract on the terms of this Amendment for a period of up-to-one year from June 30, 2016. To exercise this option, the State must send a notice to the Contractor on or before April 1, 2016. Such notice will contain what portion of the optional year the State excercises to extend. If no such notice is received, the contract Term in paragraph 5 will apply.
