THIS GRANT OF A CONSERVATION EASEMENT is made and entered this day of , 2012, by and between [insert name of individual], hereinafter referred to as the "GRANTOR" and the [insert ENTITY’S NAME], an agency of the [insert TOWN or STATE] and its successor or assigns, designated as a governmental unit under Section 170b1A(v) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, hereinafter collectively referred as the “GRANTEE”, and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (United States), acting by and through the United States Department of Agriculture ("USDA"), Natural Resource Conservation Service (“NRCS”), acting on behalf of the Commodity Credit Corporation, as its interest appears herein, for the purpose of forever conserving the agricultural productivity of the Protected Property and its value for resource preservation and as open space.
