The accommodation contract is a legally binding contract between the tenant and the manager/owner of the property, which must contain standard conditions and any special conditions (e.g. rules for pet breeding). Copies of house rules must also be given to the tenant because they are part of the terms of the contract. The lessee must be provided with a copy of the accommodation contract in the accommodation on the day he moves into or in front of the room. If they are not given a signature agreement, they still have protection under the law.
