AGREEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE POSITION OF NATIONAL ELITE COMMITTEE CHAIRMANAgreement of Understanding • February 13th, 2008
This officer is responsible for contributing to the development of the Elite Program throughout the country. He/She must have coached a national team member within the last two years and have been designated Head or Assistant Coach for the United States on an international assignment. (Personal coaches are not eligible. Head or Assistant Coaches of 11-16 age group events are not eligible). Or have been designated Head Coach at World Championships and/or International Age Group Competition (IAGC) within that last four years. He/She is a member of the Acrobatic Gymnastics Program Committee and the National Elite Committee and works with the other committee members to encourage and assist the development of elite acrobatics coaches and athletes, organize and develop the National Team, develop selection procedures for national team selection and international assignments, and work with the JO Committee on program considerations.
