This Collaborative Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the U.S. GeologicalSurvey (USGS), a bureau of the Department of the Interior, through the offices of its USGS Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center, hereinafter referred to as the “USGS” and City of Bainbridge Island, WA, a municipality and legal subdivision of the State of Washington, hereinafter referred to as “Collaborator.” USGS and Collaborator are sometimes herein referred to as a “Party” and collectively as the “Parties.” Any inconsistency between the standard terms of Articles 1 through 16 of this Agreement and any attachments to this Agreement shall be resolved by giving precedence to Articles 1 through 16.
