IDEM aims to support the next phase of the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD 2008/56/EC), which the tool of the EU's Integrated Maritime Policy to achieve Good Environmental Status (GES) of marine waters by 2020. The individual selected for this position will review and update the current determination of GES, and help defining environmental targets and criteria/indicators adapted to the deep Mediterranean Basin.
