Achieving accountability for public funds in this context requires clear roles, responsibilities and expectations. Demonstrating success to the public requires reporting on meaningful and measurable results for the sector. This is why the government implemented Multi-Year Accountability Agreements (MYAAs) for 2006-07 to 2008- 09 which will ensure that increased funding is focused on the Reaching Higher plan goals β quality, accessibility and accountability.
