BACKGROUND: A conditional offer has been extended to Brandon McNiel. Brandon has been the Public Works Superintendent for the City of Clio for close to two years. He was recently employed as Senior Operator with Genessee County Water and Waste for two years, and with the City of Flint as a Senior Operator in the water department for seven years. Mr. McNiel has an associate degree from Mott Community College in Criminal Justice and several certifications including the S-1 Water Operator License, Sacramento Wastewater Collection 1 Certificate, Sacramento Water Distribution Operation and Maintenance Certificate and Effective Utility Leadership Practices Certificate from Sacramento. The salary offered for the position is $97,000. The conditional offer is subject to a background check and approval by the Board of Trustees.
