Community Based Care (CBC) is requesting the Board approve the First Amendment to the Interagency Agreement approved by the Board on June 6, 2023 (Resolution 2023-186) between St. Johns County and Community Partnership for Children and Family Support Services of North Florida, Inc. (FSSNF). to perform pre-service training, certification services, and continual child welfare staff development services for St. Johns County Community Based Care staff. Service costs vary and are paid as needed depending on the type of training provided. Costs for this Agreement will be fully funded with CBC training grant dollars provided to the County through its contract with Florida Department of Children and Family Services. The First Amendment is to renew the Interagency Agreement for an additional twelve month term subject to the same terms, provisions, conditions, and requirements. The County’s Legal Office has reviewed and approved the Second Amendment, Agenda Item and Resolution.
