Contract Type FiledJanuary 31st, 2022This Annex shall be for the purpose of enabling the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Department of the Interior's United States Geological Survey (USGS) to collaborate on the Landsat Next Project. The scope of this effort includes development and launch of a Landsat Observatory and all Ground Segment capabilities to operate the Observatory, including satellite flight system operations, data handling, archive, and distribution. The Landsat Next project will be a follow-on mission to Landsat 9. The Landsat Next mission objective is to extend the ability to detect and quantitatively characterize changes on the global land surface at a scale where natural and human-induced causes of change can be detected and differentiated. The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) will be responsible for developing the Landsat Next Flight Segment and the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center will be responsible for developing the Landsat Next Ground Segm
