It is the purpose of this Agreement, in recognizing a common interest between the Company and the Union in promoting the fundamental principles of creativity and innovation in broadcasting and the utmost co-operation and spirit between the Company and its Employees, to set forth conditions covering rates of pay, hours of work and conditions of employment to be observed between the parties and to provide a procedure for prompt and equitable adjustment of grievances. To this end, this agreement is signed in good by the two Parties.
