As outlined in Director Kim’s cover letter from the IEPA, Loans from the Public Water Supply Loan Program Title 35 Ill. Adm Code 662.250 (Loan Rules), $3,703,057.33 of the loan amount will be forgiven by the State of Illinois pursuant to principal forgiveness provisions contained in the Loan Rules. Additionally, the Agreement must be signed no later than January 31, 2022, per Director Kim’s cover letter. Once the Agreement is executed the final award of contract to Joel Kennedy Construction can occur and payments for design engineering can be submitted for reimbursement through the IEPA.
