The Australian Standard that governs Inspections, strongly recommends that to protect you (the Client and/or your nominated party acting on your behalf) and the Inspector from any misunderstanding, that an Inspection Agreement be made available for viewing, prior to the Inspection. The agreement outlines to the “Client” the “Inspectors” terms, conditions, scope and limitations of the building inspection and report. The “Client” is requested to acknowledge understanding of and agreement to this document and further authorise the “Inspector” to proceed with the building inspection and report as requested.”
