The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income was signed in Manila on June 18, 1981. It entered into force on May 20, 1982, the thirtieth day following the exchange of the relevant instruments of ratification in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 19, 1982. Its provisions on taxes apply on income derived or which accrued beginning January 1, 1983.
