COLLABORATION AGREEMENTCollaboration Agreement • September 24th, 2020
The Institute for Scientific Research at Boston College (ISR/BC) and the Instituto Geofísico del Perú (IGP) are linked by common scientific interests and seek to develop collaborations and exchanges in fields of shared interest and expertise. The activities undertaken pursuant to this Collaboration Agreement (CA) are based on a spirit of cooperation and reciprocity that is intended to be of mutual benefit to both parties. The Institute for Scientific Research at BC (BC/ISR) is conducting sponsored research involving the installation and use of 1) GNSS and 2) VHF radio receivers to study low-latitude ionospheric phenomenon. The Instituto Geofísico del Perú (IGP) also conducts ionospheric research at its Jicamarca Radio Observatory (JRO) and has agreed to collaborate with BC/ISR in these efforts specifically with respect to the placement, maintenance, and operation of these receivers to be placed in a mutually agreed location in Peru under the terms and conditions set forth in this CA.
