The Authority and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (CWF) reached an inaugural Bus Service Agreement (the Agreement) in October 2008 that and allows the public to ride on routes operated by CWF utilizing the WATA-owned CNG fleet. In March 2018, the Agreement was amended to add several provisions and to extend the Agreement until December 31, 2019. CWF has asked to extend the Agreement for an additional two years, through December 31, 2021.
