In response to expressions of interest from customers for additional capacity, Alliance Canada is conducting this open season for additional firm transportation services from one or more designated receipt points in either Zone 1 or Zone 2 to the Alliance Trading Pool (“ATP”) or to the point of interconnection between the Canadian segment and the USA segment of the Alliance Pipeline system (the “border”), and from the ATP to the border (“Expansion Firm Service” or “Expansion Firm Services” as the context requires). This open season is intended to provide interested parties with the opportunity to make firm commitments to Alliance Canada for Expansion Firm Services in support of an Alliance Canada expansion project, and will also provide a methodology for allocating the available volume amongst the interested parties should the sum of requested service volumes exceed the volumes made available as a result of an Alliance Canada expansion project.
