This Amendment No. 2 (the “Amendment”) is made by and between Verizon New England Inc., d/b/a Verizon Massachusetts, f/k/a New England Telephone and Telegraph Company, d/b/a Bell Atlantic - Massachusetts (“Verizon”), a New York corporation with offices at 185 Franklin Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02110, and Qwest Communications Corporation, a corporation with offices at 1801 California Street 47th Floor, Denver, CO 80202-2644 (“Qwest”), and, except as otherwise expressly provided herein, shall be deemed effective on July 14, 2005 (the “Amendment Effective Date”). Verizon and Qwest are hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Parties” and individually as a "Party". This Amendment covers services in Verizon’s service territory in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (the “Commonwealth”).
