WHEREAS the Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters was signed by the Governments of Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Indonesia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Singapore and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the Twenty-ninth Day of November in the year Two Thousand and Four in Kuala Lumpur;
