NORTH ROCKS COMMUNITY (UNITING) CHURCH PRESCHOOL ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2011-2013March 25th, 2011
[1] This is an application, pursuant to s 185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (‘the Act’), filed by the North Rocks Community (Uniting) Church Preschool (‘the applicant’) which seeks the approval of Fair Work Australia (‘FWA’) of a single enterprise agreement to be known as the North Rocks Community (Uniting) Church Preschool Enterprise Agreement 2011 - 2013 (‘the Agreement’). The Agreement is to cover 9 teachers and child care workers engaged by the applicant in the provision of child care and educational services. The Agreement was negotiated with a staff representative appointed by employees. The employees were notified of their representational rights on 7 September 2010, which more than satisfies the time limits in 181 (2) of the Act, as the Agreement was approved by a valid majority on the 7 January 2011 in a ballot of 8 employees in which 7 voted to approve the Agreement.
