In furtherance of its objectives in the education and training of health care professionals, The University of Toledo (hereinafter “The University of Toledo”) operates a Graduate Medical Education Program (hereinafter “Program”) with the cooperation of the University Medical Center, certain Associated Hospitals, and other health care institutions (hereinafter “Hospitals”). Persons selected as post-graduate participants in the Program are offered an educational experience approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (hereinafter the “ACGME”), and will be designated as “Residents.”
