The Board of Education recognizes the District U-46 Secretarial Association, an affiliate of the Illinois Education Association and the National Education Association, as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all secretarial employees, clerical assistants, and Level 2 computer technicians of the District except for Information Services personnel assigned to the Educational Service Center (ESC) and the secretary to each of the following administrators: Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services, Chief Communications Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Financial and Operations Officer, Assistant to the Superintendent for Special Projects, Executive Director for Elementary Education, Executive Director for Secondary Education, Executive Director for Operations, Executive Director for Educational Programs and Accountability.
