Coon Fork County Park picnic shelter is located on the west side of Coon Fork Lake on CTH CF. From the City of August take US HWY 12 east one mile to CTH CF, turn left and go 4 miles to the park entrance. The day use side of the park is open to the general public and includes the following facilities: a disabled accessible fishing pier; a boat landing for fishermen and canoeists (only electric trolling motors are allowed on Coon Fork Lake); a swimming beach with a changing area, toilet facilities, water pump, playground, volleyball court and a picnic shelter.
