CEAE tenure-track faculty members may choose to reduce their teaching workload with the provision of 10 percent of their AY salary per class to the department, with approval of the chair. The faculty member is requested to discuss this reduction in teaching with their group before seeking the Chair’s approval. This form serves to document this agreement and will be placed in the faculty member’s personnel file. Two courses is the maximum buyout in any one AY. Faculty will teach at least one course during AY unless they have prior written accommodation.
