BURUNDI: Transport Sector Project (Credit No. 2105 BU) Amendment to Development Credit Agreement

We refer to the Development Credit Agreement (the Agreement), dated April 20, 1990, as amended between the Government of Burundi (the Borrower) and International Development Association (the Association) for the above-mentioned Project, as well as your recent request for extension during the June 17-21, 1997 mission in Washington. I am pleased to inform you that the Association agrees to your request and has established October 31, 1997 as the later date for purposes of Section 2.03 of the Agreement. A further extension may be granted in accordance with the attached letter from Mr. Tcheyan.
