This Settlement Agreement and Release (“Settlement Agreement” or “Agreement”) is entered into by and between Mildred Baldwin and Douglas Dyrssen, individually and on behalf of Participating Settlement Class Members (as defined below) (together “Plaintiffs”), and (2) National Western Life Insurance Company, (“Defendant” or “NWL”) (collectively the “Parties”), in the consolidated action styled Baldwin et al. v. National Western Life Insurance Company, Case No. 2:21-cv-4066, pending in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
