The attached ordinance will authorize an agreement between the City of Nevada and MoDOT, to help fund a project to replace two electronic “speed calming” signs, located on West Ashland and North Olive Streets, near Nevada High School and Nevada Middle School. MoDOT will fund 80% of the estimated $10,000 cost of this project under the Surface Transportation Program, with the City and R-5 School District contributing the remainder.
